I thought I would share some of the Twitter advertising methods today. So here are some of the ones I use. Make sure to sign up for all of them, you never know when and where your next high paying tweet will come from!
Ad.Ly
Ad.ly is the new kid on the block for advertising on Twitter. Although they are new they are making a big marketing presence. They have huge celebs one there list like Kim Kardashian, Brooke Burke, Nicole Richie, Brody Jenner, Dr. Drew, Samantha Ronson, and of course me. A lot of the high end iMarketers use Ad.ly too. You also get the option to donate a part of your earnings to charity if you would like. They have a referral program that gives you 12% of there earnings.
Sponsored Tweets
Similar to Ad.ly, but they have been around for a longer time. They have huge celebs one there list like Holly Madison, Kenda Wilkerson, Ted Murphy. They have a referral program that gives you 10%. Shoemoney have made a lots of money from Sponsored Tweets.
RevTwt
I will be the first to admit, when I first saw the website these guys have it screams scam! BUT it is not. I have been using them for a while now and have made a pretty penny doing so. They are a PPC setup. They are a little on the low end of payouts but you can still make good money at it. They do not boast of any big names promoting them. They do have a referral program that pays out 20% which is high.
Twittad
This one is a little crazy in my book but I have used them a couple of times. They are a CPO, Cost Per Opportunity, which means they pay you for the opportunity to have someone click on there link. When you get your CPO, you get to choose 3 tweets that they will send out during a certain period of time (most likely 7 days). Along with the 3 tweets they will change your background to match that advertiser. Affiliates earn 25% of Twittad Transaction Fees on each successful sale of a referred user over the lifetime of the Twittad user.
Thanks for reading. Comment away.

I think it is getting to a really interesting stage with Twitter but I personally think that users would react really really badly to sponsored tweets etc. The whole point is that it is about having a conversation and if you start to throw in sponsored tweets in there it gets messy!
I have not done any official testing but it does not seem to effect my twitter following.
